Meet Ryan

Ryan grew up in Orangevale, California.  He became an avid duck hunter as a teenager, enjoying countless fall and winter days observing waterfowl and planning his next hunt.  Honing his culinary skills by grilling duck steaks, he has brought the delicious flavors of duck to the tables of friends and family.  His professional animal husbandry skills began when he took a job in gundog training in Oroville, CA; he trained retrievers and managed a large kennel, maintaining feed regimens and hygiene for the animals.  He still has a Labrador named Libby--Gunstocks Give Me Liberty.  Later, his professional life was spent as a carpenter, and he stepped away from a Superintendent position to fulfill his dreams of raising his family on a farm. Ducks have always been his favorite.
