Meet Megan

Megan's Story

Hailing from Pensacola, Florida, Megan grew up in the South, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Florida panhandle. She attended Florida State University and obtained her bachelors degree in Biological Science, completing an undergraduate thesis on tropical birds in Panama. She moved to California, where she worked with birds of prey at the Golden Gate Raptor Observatory, Point Blue Conservation Science, and finally the University of California, Davis, where she completed her Masters and Ph.D. in Ecology, focusing on population genomics of birds.
