The following list reflects duck and duckling prices for 2024. Please keep in mind that ducks eat a LOT of feed- much more than chickens. We feed only Non-GMO feed to our birds. Our birds are dual purpose; we are assuming that we will be eating the eggs they lay or the meat they produce, and we find the highest quality meat and eggs to be produced by birds on local Non-GMO feed.

Our prices are significantly cheaper than the big-name hatcheries. We want to provide quality animals to our community at an affordable price. Please research hatchery prices to understand the deal you are getting from Lazy Duck Pastures. We sourced our original birds from hatcheries, but we selected from over 200 individuals for our current laying flock to keep the best individuals in terms of weight, size, laying capabilities, plumage characteristics, and more.  At the moment, we only offer utility bird quality: good egg-laying capability for hens (~250 eggs/year) and decent weight for drakes (~4lb carcass at 16 weeks). We are actively working to improve genetics and breed quality characteristics. Prices subject to change without notice.
